STORYTELLING

LOCKDOWN

EDINBURGH

We are all storytellers and we all have stories from the experience of our lives.

STORY FROM PEOPLE

The need for sharing the stories became more important than ever. There’re still numerous significant opportunities for us to capture in life.

Let's discover people's stories in Edinburgh.

SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESS

With this gloom and doom everywhere, we could still try our absolutely best as a community.

Let's hear their stories.

The world feels like it's upside down and has certainly made small business owners feel very unsure about the future. It's hard to plan when we don't know when the lockdown will be lifted, what measures will be put in place in the coming months, and how confident the public will feel about returning to small shops.

We had big plans for 2020 including opening a second shop in Edinburgh. We still want to achieve this but keep questioning what is the right thing to do.

Only time will tell!

Another day of Lockdown and another day of learning a new way of working. Another day of helping everyone 'stay home' by going to them and taking the risks so our customers don't have to. 'Frontline Workers', maybe? 'Essential Workers', definitely!!  A new day ahead tomorrow and another day to adjust and succeed in a society that evolves by the day, not the generation...

Storytelling

The Project
was developed as part of the Dissertation from the University of Edinburgh's Design Informatics course.  This platform invites people to share their views through written their first-hand stories, diaries and photographs of their daily lives under the COVID-19 lockdown and get inspired by the others.
